Youth Justice Network

Supporting this valuable organization to get young people back on their feet.

Youth Justice Network, a pioneering nonprofit that supports young people affected by the criminal justice system, was struggling with limited resources. They desired to take their marketing efforts and social media presence to the next level, amplifying their mission and spreading their story. But without an in-house designer, and resources in short supply, the organization didn’t quite know where, or how, to begin. We decided to donate our time to partner with the nonprofit and develop a cohesive, fully developed, social media strategy to help Youth Justice Network reach their goals in a realistic way.

Amplifying Your Message and Tracking Growth

A social strategy to amplify the message of a pioneering non-profit.

After having heard the mission and story of Youth Justice Network, we knew we wanted to create a partnership and help in promoting their amazing work and bolstering their social media strategy. Artisan Council worked to, first, create a comprehensive social media overview to help determine target demographics and set goals across channels. We then worked to establish social media best practices. This provided a roadmap that Friends of Island Academy could use to better understand tailored guidelines like the best times to post, the ‘dos and don’ts’ of content creation, and how to best monitor engagement from new followers.

The Results.

Results of the training sessions included a clear direction and understanding of priority social channels for the nonprofit, important tactics on how to empower staff and, most importantly, free and affordable tools to help track success. The greatest result of all? Helping to establish Youth Justice Network as a veritable resource, allowing them to better, and more successfully, connect with the community.
