Real Techniques: TikTok Creative Exchange

Getting creative on TikTok to drive holiday sales.

As a preferred partner agency for TikTok’s Creative Exchange program, Artisan Council was perfect for the job of helping Real Techniques reach new users, grow their base of existing customers, and excite brand loyalists. Most importantly, we helped the brand create a fun, disruptive TikTok strategy to promote and drive sales for their all-star hero product, the Miracle Complexion Sponge, along with their Ulta-exclusive holiday set, All I Want Is Glow. By tapping dynamic, exciting TikTok content creators, our agency helped highlight the Real Technique’s mission – taking the mystery out of choosing beauty tools to help users bring their makeup vision to life.

Sourcing the perfect creators for holiday sales.

Real Techniques has fostered a community for the beauty-obsessed, providing award-winning, professional makeup tools at real and accessible price points. So, obviously, when the brand needed some help sourcing TikTok content creators to promote their new holiday set, All I Want Is Glow, Artisan Council jumped at the opportunity to lend a hand. We set to work sourcing the most *chef’s kiss* beauty creators to make exciting, empowering TikTok content that highlighted not only the all-new holiday set, but the brand’s hero product, the coveted Miracle Complexion Sponge (iykyk), too.

The Results.

Wondering what this new TikTok content looked like and how it performed? We thought so. Our sourced beauty creators produced a series of several videos that included storytelling around the quality of the new holiday set – while they did their makeup, of course – a makeup look tutorial, and trending video styles like ‘This is your sign to buy’ and ‘TikTok Made Me Buy It’. The results were seven total ads launched that all performed well above industry standard results. We’d call that a job well done.
