AC Gives Back: Gyrl Wonder

Empowering the Next Generation of Black Women in Creative Industries

Gyrl Wonder is a 501(c)(3) professional pipeline initiative designed to empower young women of color, ages 17–23, with the tools, resources, and networks to succeed in creative industries such as marketing, media, and advertising. With a strong digital community of over 20,000 and programming rooted in professional development, wellness, and access, Gyrl Wonder provides guidance to those navigating college and transitioning into corporate environments—spaces where they are often underrepresented.

AC Gives Back helped Gyrl Wonder refine their digital strategy and strengthen their online community through three focused training sessions. We guided their team on platform prioritization, content planning, and authentic storytelling to better highlight members and mentors. By introducing structured workflows, creative campaign ideas, and low-lift production tools, we equipped Gyrl Wonder to maintain a consistent, engaging, and mission-driven social presence—even with limited resources.
