Candidates should have experience in the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns, project management, motion editing and graphic design experience for both motion and stills. The successful candidate will be a creative and analytical hard worker who is hungry to learn, as well as show responsibility for their tasks while making strategic, analytical based suggestions, all the while working as part of a team to assist the Creative and Paid Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing assets for organic social media content strategies, as briefed by Content Managers.
- Planning and creating Instagram Story assets, based on strategic advice from Content Managers.
- Designing assets for paid social media campaigns, as briefed by Content and Paid Social Managers.
- Creating campaign reports and pitch decks, and their relevant assets, to be presented in Google Slides, as briefed by Account Strategists, Content Managers, Account Directors, and the Art Director.
- Designing analytical data in reports in Google Data Studio to reflect Artisan Council’s branding.
- Designing web and email assets upon request.
- Assist the Art Director in prioritizing team requests in line with business priorities.
- Managing content delivery and content production schedules for the Art Director, and assisting with preparations for such production.
- Assist the Art Director/Creative Team in delivering paid assets, including creating presentation decks + optimizing edited content for social media platforms.
- Liaise with clients upon request, and attend off-site meetings.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

- 2-3 years relevant experience, especially with the Adobe Suite (most importantly, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) along After Effects and Premiere, with a focus on D2C, beauty brands, and consumer products.
- Working knowledge of HTML; and CSS skills a plus.
- Exceptional understanding of consumer online behavior, trends, and market analysis, specifically in the beauty and D2C brand markets.
- Working knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and the Office suite.
- Project management experience, including experience in testing and delivering online campaigns; development projects including websites and landing pages, and more.
- Experience with a range of Content Management Systems, and the ability to learn new systems.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a very strong understanding of web analytics, marketing analytics & ROI.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills

- Familiarity with project management and content planning tools such as Trello, Asana, Jira, Basecamp and more.

- Proven track record as a motion design and video editor generalist with experience in either agency, brand or ideally both.
- Portfolio that includes well- crafted motion graphic videos scaling from storytelling and narrative content to product focused performance marketing.
- Curiosity about learners needs and business goals.
- A strong understanding of our product and how it works.
- Experience in A/B tests to gather data-driven insights that optimize designs and develop hypotheses to inform design decisions.
- Ability to balance craft, critical thinking, and business needs to deliver meaningful impact.
- Ability to work in high-level content strategy and hands-on design tasks with extreme attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, forward-thinking creative, proactivity and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of performance metrics, experience working with teams in marketing analytics, and testing/optimization techniques.
